I write this article, motivated by a desire to thank the Italian Federation of Pesi tell my experience as a speaker at the convention in Abano Terme just ended.
Usually the sport makes headlines, or greatest hits or - unfortunately - for the nth case of doping. This time I would tell other, I would like to bring attention to an aspect that is never mentioned, In other words, what we call the "behind the scenes": people with their spirit of service and sacrifice mean that sport can exist, can live, can be arranged.
From the first contact with the FIFE I had the impression of having to deal with a new organization, different, much to guess the reason why in recent years it is enjoying great success.
An old proverb says: "Makes more noise than a tree falling in a forest that grows". Too often we are distracted by the negative, when we think that sport is totally corrupt, but this does not mean that even in sports, battered by sad events, there are actually positive as the Federation of Italian Weights.
Federation are young, a rarity in our country, where it is known that in any form of organization existing decision-making roles are assigned and held tight by veterans who for no reason they uproot from their armchairs.
These days I have had the honor to know personally the President of the FIFE Antonio Bear, a man who, it is important to say, to the detriment of his career was opposed to some unhealthy ways to practice the sport, choosing the path more difficult to pursue, that of legality; policies based on the true values of sport and the expertise of its technical.
Bravo President, good all of you members of the Fipe: Athletes, staff, technical, executives, be proud of yourself, you are an example for the Italian sports.
